- Exposure and prior experience in planning, design, and implementation of SDH/OTN/ASON for Long Haul, Regional and Metro WDM Networks in SP & Public Sector.
- Exposure to planning, design, and implementation sub-sea cable WDM. Prior work experience in deployment of sub-sea cable like SeaMeWe-3/4, TIC, TGN-EA, i2i, IMEWE, FLAG, SAFE, BBG, EIG, AAE-1.
- Proficiency and previous experience at
- Optical Network Solutioning and Designing.
- Making WDM HLD and LLD.
- Executing lab validation and POC.
- Excellent track record in Service Delivery as per SOW (Scope of Work) for multi-vendor multi-platform networks
- LLD Implementation and
- Field migration as per MOP
- Troubleshooting field implementation issues
- Expertise in using different vendors Optical NMS & their respective tools for
- IP addressing of NE’s for Optical DCN network
- Configure & commission Optical NE’s.
- Executing BIOS & software upgradation.
- Demand/Service configuration.
- Troubleshooting NE’s and Service Demands
- Technical background in photonics product lines spanning various OEMs like
- Cisco - NCS 1000, NCS 2K, NCS 4000, NCS 4200, M6, ONS 15454 etc.
- ALU – 1830PSS and SDH, ADVA FSP3000 & Cloud Connect etc.
- Huawei (OSN 9800, OSN8800, OSN 6800, BWS1600G, Optix Metro 6100 and OSN7500)
- CIENA (54XX, 6500, WLAi & Wave Server)
- Tejas (CP100, TJ1420, TJ1460, TJ1600),
- ZTE, ZXMP, ZXONE and ZXWM
- Knowledge of implementation experience of large scale Optical DCN networks
- Able to plan optical wavelength equalizations and build synchronization network
- Able to operate and work on test instruments (OSA, Ethernet Analyzer, Power Meter etc.)
